Week 40 (September 25 – October 01) – MJ’s Running in 2022

Welcome to the fortieth week of running for the year 2022.

This week, my running routine has been going strong. On September 26th, I completed a 3.1-mile run with a pace of 11 minutes and 24 seconds per mile. It took me a total of 35 minutes and 45 seconds to finish, and I felt quite accomplished afterwards.

The following day, on September 27th, I embarked on another 3.1-mile run, but this time I pushed myself a little harder. I managed to maintain a quicker pace of 10 minutes and 51 seconds per mile, resulting in a total time of 34 minutes and 3 seconds. It was an exhilarating experience, and I could feel the improvement in my endurance.

After a day of rest, I hit the pavement again on September 29th for yet another 3.1-mile run. Although I couldn’t quite match the speed of my previous run, I still managed to complete it in a respectable time of 11 minutes and 45 seconds per mile. Overall, it took me 36 minutes and 50 seconds to finish, and I was satisfied with my effort.

Reflecting on the week, I can see progress in my running performance. Each run presented its own challenges, but I pushed myself to maintain a consistent pace and stay focused on my goals. I look forward to the upcoming week’s runs, knowing that I’m steadily improving and building a stronger foundation for my fitness journey.

To summarize my weekly running efforts, I ran 9.3 miles with 11’28” pace, completing 336.4 miles for the year.

See you next week!
