Welcome to the fifty second week of running for the year 2022.
Hello, everyone! It’s MJ here, and I’m back with my weekly running summary for Week 52. However, I must admit that running had to take a backseat once again during this week. After our wedding, I was fully immersed in the post-wedding ceremonies and ensuring that my new bride was having a fantastic time. Indian weddings are known for their vibrant and joyous celebrations, but they can also be physically and mentally demanding, lasting for five days.
- December 18 – December 24, 2022: This week was all about post-wedding festivities and ensuring the happiness of my new bride. The ceremonies and celebrations continued with great enthusiasm, and it was a wonderful time spent with family and friends, creating memories that would last a lifetime.
- While running wasn’t part of my activities this week, I found myself engaged in various traditional customs, dancing, and participating in joyful rituals with my bride. These moments were a beautiful extension of our wedding, allowing us to bond further and share the joy with our loved ones.
As much as I love running and value its role in my life, there are times when it’s essential to prioritize other aspects, such as family, tradition, and loved ones. This week was a testament to that. Embracing the post-wedding ceremonies and being present for my new bride was incredibly meaningful, reinforcing the importance of cherishing these special moments together.
As the post-wedding celebrations come to a close, and we settle into our married life, I look forward to gradually reintegrating running into my routine. While the past two weeks have been a whirlwind of joy and celebration, I’m also aware of the need to take care of my body and mind. Running will once again serve as a means of staying physically fit and providing valuable mental space as I transition into married life.
Week 52 was filled with happiness, laughter, and celebration. As we wrap up the post-wedding ceremonies, I feel a deep sense of gratitude for the support and love we received from our family and friends. Indian weddings are a true testament to the richness of our culture and the importance of coming together to celebrate love.
While running took a temporary break, it’s moments like these that remind me of the various aspects that make life fulfilling and vibrant. I’ll soon be back on track, running towards new adventures with my new bride by my side.
Thank you for joining me on this journey, and I look forward to sharing more running experiences with you in the future. Until then, take care, stay healthy, and cherish the meaningful moments in your own lives. Wishing you all the best until next time!
See you next week!
