Week 49 (November 27 – December 03) – MJ’s Running in 2022

Welcome to the forty ninth week of running for the year 2022.

Hey there! It’s MJ, and I’m excited to share my weekly running summary for Week 49. However, I must confess that this week was quite different from my usual running adventures. With my wedding just a couple of weeks away, I found myself engrossed in last-minute shopping and participating in numerous pooja events. Running took a backseat during this time, but the joy of preparing for my special day made up for it!

  • November 27 – December 03, 2022: This week was all about wedding preparations and immersing myself in the cultural and spiritual aspects of our celebration. The days were filled with bustling around, making sure everything was set for the big day. I visited various shops to complete last-minute shopping for my wedding attire and other essentials.
  • Additionally, I had the pleasure of attending many pooja events with my family. These rituals hold immense significance in our culture, and participating in them with my loved ones brought a profound sense of joy and connectedness.

As much as I missed my usual running routine, I knew that this was a once-in-a-lifetime moment that deserved my full attention. Preparing for my wedding and being part of the pooja ceremonies allowed me to connect with my cultural roots and appreciate the richness of our traditions. It was a week of excitement, anticipation, and love as I looked forward to starting this new chapter of my life with my partner.

With the wedding just around the corner, my schedule will likely remain occupied with wedding-related activities. I’m eagerly awaiting the big day, surrounded by the love and support of my family and friends. After the wedding, I know life will bring new responsibilities and adventures, including finding opportunities to continue my passion for running.

I look forward to resuming my running routine post-wedding, as it not only keeps me physically fit but also provides a much-needed mental escape. It’s a time for reflection, self-discovery, and staying centered amidst life’s joys and challenges.

Although I didn’t run during Week 49, I’m grateful for the precious moments spent preparing for my wedding and participating in the pooja events. These experiences have enriched my life and reinforced the importance of cherishing traditions and loved ones. As I embark on this beautiful journey of marriage, I’m excited to see how running will continue to be a part of my life, providing balance and rejuvenation.

Thank you for joining me on this weekly running summary, and I’ll catch you again after my wedding as I lace up my running shoes and hit the road with newfound energy and excitement! Until then, wish me luck for the upcoming celebrations, and I can’t wait to share the post-wedding running adventures with you all. Stay tuned!

See you next week!
