Week 47 (November 13 – November 19) – MJ’s Running in 2022

Welcome to the forty seventh week of running for the year 2022.

Hey there, it’s time for my weekly running summary, but this week was quite different for me. I was in India, soaking up the beautiful culture and traditions, and most importantly, enjoying the pre-wedding preparations with my amazing fiancรฉ.

While I didn’t lace up my running shoes during Week 47, I had the opportunity to immerse myself in the excitement and joy of preparing for our wedding. The bustling streets, vibrant colors, and delicious cuisine of India created an atmosphere that was impossible to resist. It was a truly special time, and I wouldn’t have traded it for anything.

During this week, my focus shifted from logging miles to creating memories with my partner. We spent quality time together, discussing wedding details, meeting with our families, and exploring the local customs and traditions. Every moment was filled with love, anticipation, and a sense of adventure.

Although running is an essential part of my routine, it’s equally important to prioritize the significant events in life. Our wedding is a milestone that symbolizes the beginning of a lifelong journey together. Taking a break from running allowed me to fully engage in the preparations, savoring each moment and strengthening the bond with my fiancรฉ.

I understand that physical fitness is crucial, not just for my physical well-being, but also for my mental and emotional health. That’s why I’m confident that this break will ultimately rejuvenate my passion for running and bring a renewed energy when I return to the road.

In the end, it’s essential to remember that life is about balance. Sometimes, we need to step away from our usual routines and embrace the extraordinary moments that come our way. And so, as I look back on Week 47, I’m filled with gratitude for the incredible experiences and the love that surrounds me as I embark on this new chapter of my life.

See you next week!
