Welcome to the thirty sixth week of running for the year 2022.
This week, I had a fantastic time hitting the pavement and logging some miles. Here’s a summary of my running sessions:
- On August 29th, I completed a 3.1-mile run. Despite feeling a bit sluggish, I managed to maintain a pace of 13 minutes and 20 seconds per mile, finishing the run in a total time of 41 minutes and 24 seconds.
- Then, on September 2nd, I tackled another 3.1-mile run. I found my stride and felt more energized, which reflected in my improved pace of 12 minutes and 34 seconds per mile. It took me a total of 39 minutes and 4 seconds to complete the distance.
- The following day, September 3rd, I opted for a shorter run of 2.5 miles. I was feeling particularly motivated, resulting in a faster pace of 11 minutes and 19 seconds per mile. I completed the run in a total time of 28 minutes and 11 seconds.
Adding up the distances of each run, my weekly total miles amounted to 8.7 miles. The total time taken for all my runs combined was 1 hour, 48 minutes, and 39 seconds. Calculating the average pace for the week, it comes out to be approximately 12 minutes and 28 seconds per mile.
I’m proud of my consistency this week and the progress I made in terms of pacing. It’s encouraging to see my times improve and to push myself further with each run. I’m looking forward to next week’s runs and continuing to challenge myself on this fitness journey.
To summarize my weekly running efforts, I ran 8.7 miles with 12’28” pace, completing 296.1 miles for the year.
See you next week!
