Welcome to the eleventh week of running for the year 2022.
This is my last week in India and I couldn’t be more sad to leave India and head back to the US. The only reason for my sadness is missing the person with whom I am going to spend the rest of my life. On the last day of the week, we had a small ceremony of 50 people, where my soon-to-be fiancé and I took vows to commit to each other in the presence of our family and friends. We call it a Roka Ceremony in India. It felt both great and nervous at the same time, but, I knew as long as my soon-to-be fiancé is going to be with me, I am going to be just fine.
Safe to say, I didn’t run during this week too, given that this was my last week in India. I just wanted to spend every free minute with my soon-to-be fiancé.
Hopefully, I will be able to get some miles under my belt once I am in the US.
See you next week!
